Matt,

Unfortunately we have to stick with the last 12 months usage and can’t use forecast or expected usages.

Sorry.

Call me if we need to discuss anything else on this project.

Hi Mark,

Hope you are doing well. Would you please take a look at Hibernia Breeder Complex at 141 Hibernia Rd, Monetta, SC. for us?

Meeting with them yesterday, they feel like the past 12 months are not a fair representation of his normal power usage. He said the follow year he used more power because of the rotation of his chickens. This year is lower usage, but next year would be higher again because of his rotation.

Would you be able to look back the following year and make sure he is maximizing his solar potential? We appreciate your help.

They asked me to check with you so I copied them on this email.

Best regards,
Matt

Matt,

Since the Fricks are interested in the study on the circuit the only limit of solar installation we have is 20MVA. We do have different procedures for different sizes of installations, I have attached several documents with these different procedures. I highly recommend reading through the 2MVA-20MVA Procedure form even if the Fricks are not planning on installing that large of a system because it highlights what the study of the circuit could consist of (Section 2). Since this would be the first study it is not certain how much it will cost or how long it will take and more information may be needed throughout. That being said it would be helpful to know the maximum amount of solar the Fricks were planning on installing to make the study of the circuit be more efficient. We would need access to the property but we are willing to comply with any poultry health requirements. As for the 60kW installation I cannot accurately answer what the solar offset for 12 months will be, however over the past 12 months (7/10/15 – 7/12/16) the Fricks usage on the 106751-001 account (the chicken houses) was 399,000kWH. So assuming the system reaches its max capacity (60kW since this would be the only distributed generation on the circuit) for an average of 4 hours per day, it will produce roughly 87,600kWh annually which is about 22% of the power usage for those 12 months. Hopefully this will give you some insight on how a 60kW solar installation will impact their power usage. If you have any more questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,

Ben Pennisi
