Yes, great question. I can show you tomorrow. Screen shot is how I capture it. I just copy and paste their connections to a word document.
What I mean by a window is just that you don’t want to click on the person’s profile more than one or two times because they get notifications each time you view it.
People somewhat expect you to view their profile following a connection or viewing their profile before you send the connection request. That is pretty standard. Waiting two months, then viewing their profile several times could be viewed as stalking or like you have alternative motives or something. 😉

Subject: LinkedIn question
Matt,
I’m working on reaching out to connect with the folks I met at the SFPE conference on LinkedIn. When you said, I’ve got a shot to view someone’s connections after they accept, what does that look like? Does that mean that I have a window where it’s appropriate/expected to view the person’s profile? How do you capture the connection info – screen shot?
Thanks,
Amy
