Hey Matt,
To know how to best categorize your company, I need to know what your business money trail looks like.
Option 1- The client pays you directly in full and then you pay the installers of the solar panels.— this is quoted as a contractor
Option 2- The client pays the installers of the solar panels and you get a commission from them—–this is quoted as a consultant
If it is neither of these, please explain the flow of money from your client to you.
