The idea was to grow produce in shipping containers and have them be powered off-the-grid with solar panels. I keep coming back to the idea that seemed to get a lot of traction when I would say it…”Private, Secure, Off-The-Grid, Growsite…growing whatever they wanted to grow. We were going to be the ones to provide the total package.
So, to tie back in to my blog about The 10/40 Window, I believe these portable grow-site can be sent to rural communities and become the economic center that a small town might need. We can help secure the water source, see my blogs on wells and how to create and plum a cistern system.
Clean food, Clean water, powered by clean electricity…guiding people to a path of finding their higher power. This economic engine would become a source of jobs, a source for people to learn about recovery, a place for students of all ages to come and read or learn by electric powered lights, thanks to the solar.
Once we feed and hydrate people, they are then able and willing to listen to the message of hope that we will be bringing.
