Seed Cooler:
- In our seed cooler, in order to keep the seeds from accidentally germinating, make sure that the temperature plus the humidity levels are less than 100.
- Normally, the fan runs all the time; the condenser turns on when it needs to lower the temperature. We changed it so that they both cut on together to allow the condenser to thaw out completely and also so that when it starts back up, it doesn’t spray that moisture out over all of the bags of seed
- The cooling unit does not run from 10pm – 6am to conserve energy and to allow the unit to thaw completely
