HUMIDITY REEKS HAVOC ON PRODUCTION & SERVER EQUIPMENT | Building owners and operators located in the Southeast know and understand that one of the more insidious factors in equipment deterioration is humidity. Because the level of humidity in a room or outdoor area can change quickly and unexpectedly, controlling for humidity can be a frustrating “opportunity” if you don’t have a fully functioning system in a climate-controlled space.

DRY CAN BE JUST AS DAMAGING
First, overly humid conditions are not the only ones you need to watch out for. Super-dry conditions in which the humidity is very low can make hoses, gaskets and other rubber parts on the equipment dry out and crack.

Finding and fixing issues caused by exposure to too much or too little humidity needs to be done early on so problems are not left to fester.
