Jim’s Raised Garden Bed Construction and Irrigation Project Post author:Admin Post published:June 25, 2021 Post category:Hydroponic, Farming, Gardening, CEA The best way to irrigate these raised beds was to connect it to the closest spigot We purchased a brass 4 way split to connect the battery operated irrigation timer purchased at Lowes. Following the timer, is a pressure reducer and a filter. I had to put two 90 degree elbows to redirect the drip line back around 180 degrees towards the bed. We did our best to hide drip the dripline along the inside of the brick wall. We pulled back the leaves and pinestraw and used staples to hold down the line. I showed the client how it was best to come up through the corner of the bed after we buried the line coming up to it. We lined the inside of the bed with weed block fabric with a staple gun. Once the beds were full of dirt, I came back and hooked up the spaghetti tubing and spray stakes with nozzles. The water sprayed nicely on the newly planted seeds.
