During 2017, I took a research trip to Guatemala and saw first hand the real struggle that growers had trying to grow crops. The lack of soil quality, the lack of efficient use of water for irrigation and the many uncontrollable elements of weather make growing crops traditionally in the soil nearly impossible.
Growing crops hydroponically inside of a shipping container with solar panels on top to power the unit is just common sense. These containers can be called Culinary Kits and set up inside to grow whatever crops they want.
These containers can be dropped off where they need it. How many remote villages and small towns have places where a container would work? There could be soil issues, like rocky soil, hard clay, super sandy areas or whatever. We have technology available with LED lighting, solar energy and hydroponics to make this work.
