I have attached the invoice for the study on the circuit that serves your account 106751-001. Please read through the invoice and note that the costs are subject to change. I have also attached the Net-Metering rate structure; the three documents explain how Aiken Electric Cooperative purchases power from Central Electric Power Cooperative, how Aiken sells to Members, and how Central purchases power from Members.
Please have a clear understanding that an interconnection of renewable energy generation resource that exceeds the parameters or does not fit the intended use as outlined in the current Net-Metering rate structure of Aiken Electric Cooperative must be installed and interconnected directly to the electric grid or distribution system of Aiken Electric Cooperative as a “Stand-Alone” generation resource. It cannot and will not be interconnected in conjunction with any existing or proposed metering point or service location on the Aiken Electric distribution system. In other words, it cannot be tied directly to a metering point in order to offset, defer, decrease, supplement, supply, or in any other way, provide for the required energy of any electrical load currently connected or proposed to be connected to the Aiken Electric Cooperative distribution system. The renewable energy resource cannot directly serve the Member’s load.
Aiken Electric Cooperative does not purchase or in any other manner provide compensation for any surplus energy generated by a Member owned renewable energy resource. For renewable resources which do not meet the provisions found in the current Net-Metering rate structure of Aiken Electric Cooperative, the Member should negotiate a surplus energy purchase agreement, often referred to as a Power Purchase Agreement, with or through Central Electric Power Cooperative, Inc.
If you choose to proceed with the work, payment may be submitted at our Office or by mail. Our accepted method of payment is cash or check only. Please include a copy of the invoice if the payment is mailed in. If you have any questions please let me know.

Sorry for not getting back to you. I have been having some technical difficulties with my phone and did not get any of your messages. After taking a look at Mr. Frick’s account the most kW of solar you can install is 60kW, this is due to the primary voltage on the circuit being greater than 10kV but less than 20kV with no other distributed generation on the circuit. If you wanted to have all 60kW go through the same meter it would have to go through meter 81699103 or the account 106751-001 (the chicken houses). There is another small structure that is near the chicken houses, Account 106751-005, the maximum you could install on this account is 14.4kW. As long as the combined total is 60kW or less. If you would like to install more kW of renewable generation a study would have to be done on the circuit. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
