Top Line Behaviors

Top Line Behaviors-

​”Top Lines” are healthy behaviors and activities we replace for our old unhealthy patterns.  We can’t get sober and simply stop our destructive behavior in a vacuum.  We can take creative actions, and prove we are capable of making healthy choices. It can start with small additions to our daily routine.

As of 7/30/2020, these are my Top Line Behaviors:

  • Writing in NYTBS
  • Step Work
  • Numbers
  • Eating on my program
  • Gym/Walking/Body Pump
  • Bed by 9, goal is 8pm
  • Up by 4am, 5am latest
  • Meditation goal 20 mins per day, minimum 5 mins
  • Listening or recording Podcast while driving
  • Blogging about something daily
  • Podcast daily, goal is 20 mins, minimum 5 minutes
  • Daily 10th Step
  • Track Net-Worth Daily
  • List Goals in Bookend Form, 3 per day min
  • List expenses daily in journal
  • Record daily expenses in Everydollar app
  • Time tracking daily in spreadsheet

What is so surprising is that I do most all of these each and every day now. Focusing my energy in productive Top Line Behaviors will keep me out of trouble and out of my head. I can find serenity in doing each of these. I find my Higher Power when I do these activities.
