Today, while enjoying a nice short weekend getaway with my inlaws and family at their beach house at Pawleys Island, I over heard my Father-In-Law calling back people who had been on his website. These folks were leads who had been searching on his website, gotten to the point of filling out all of the fields on the shopping cart page, then…for whatever reason, they did not finish the transaction and put in their card number.
These are as close as they come to being paid clients. They are HOT leads. As we were discussing how they were easy sales, he called several of the back and most all of them just had one or two questions and were ready to go. I shared how I thought that some of it might just be that they just might need to talk to a physical person before committing.
I was curious what plugin he was using on his website. As he showed me his phone, I asked him to scroll to the top so that I could see what he was using to capture these leads. His website developer had found this plugin for WordPress…Event Expresso.
