However, as of November of last year I started selling residential solar systems. Needing to see how my own turned out prior to telling all of you how great it is, I am reporting my results. Last year my August power bill was $211. This year, with solar, it is down to $33 with 37 kW/hrs carried over as a credit to this next bill. I can’t believe how phenomenal this has been. $0 out of pocket and 55% covered between the federal and state tax credits provided by going green. Home value has went up significantly as well!
